"Trinka"

Ok, you got me! "Trinka" is an easier version of my name Trienke, but you gotta admit that it's much easier to pronounce.  I'm originally from Holland and moved to Canada in my early teens, hence the "name".

Creativity has always been part of my life in every way.  ​When the mood strikes you can find me sewing, painting, interior decorating, renovating, going thrift shopping and finding another funky item for in my place, repainting my kitchen, putting punny vinyl sayings on egg containers, and my current obsession -

making upcycled jewelry from inner tube tires and

scrap leather from a furniture factory. 

All of this is usually (always) accompanied by loud

singing and bad dancing.

I also have a love of connecting with people around me.  For this reason I would attend markets, so I could chat with people all day while talking about the things I had created.  

​

Recently I found myself at a crossroads of what to do and I had an AHA moment.  I am combining my two passions into one solution: Workshops!  Where I get to teach PEOPLE something CREATIVE!!  

 

I will be hosting these in various locations such as restaurants, breweries, halls, etc. and in various towns around Central Alberta.
